SDS - structural design service

• specification of Formance SIP panels for roof and external walls

• specification of Internal Timber Framed walls 

• Bracing design

• Lintel design

• Roof Framing - Substructure design  

• Associated Structural connection details 

• If design requires further Specific Engineering Design (SED) this will be advised as soon as possible. 

• SED fees are not included in this service, but procurement with specified structural engineer is included

Service is based on existing architectural plans.  SDS will cover above scope to B1 and B2 of the NZBC. Scope of covered design depends on available standards and design guides available at the time of the service. Full set of architectural floor plans, cross-sections and elevations need to be provided by client.
